"ETs Best" English Radio Program is about Real Life in Mexico
Programs are aired every Wednesday at 7:00 – 8:00 PM (19:00 hrs – 20:00hrs.) CDT. You will hear Real Mexicans speaking English about what they work at or play at. They are all real, as I put them through a screening process to make sure they are genuine. There usually is no problem with this, as all are referrals to me from previous guest and friends of guests. I am the producer and host of "ETs Best" English Radio Program.
(PRWEB) October 24, 2004 -- Real Life in Mexico, without political flavor or religion, just about real people living in Central Mexico. “ETs Best” English Radio Program is heard every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (19:00 hr to 20:00 hr). Almost all interviews are live on radio, 98%. Listen live on line or if you are not able to, because of schedule or time zone difference, go to the radio archive section of the web site etsbest.com for the links to listen live or the archive radio. “ETs Best”, launched in September 10, 2003, the first program was a tribute to the happenings of 911. The program started with 30 minutes and was then increased to 1 hour at the start of 2004.
The program is hosted and produced by Eli Tatarin who is also known as “ET”. Eli has a co-host who started a few months ago, there seems to be a nice flow between the two.
September will be 1 year on the air. Made it this far, still a long way to go.
The program has a new topic every week, also for education (see below on details), health issues, other interesting information, travel information (in Mexico), local events around town plus many other happenings in the state of Michoacan and with the Colonial City of Morelia (Is a registered colonial city).
The main topic is always in English (which could be an interview or a selected topic by ET), this point is where the education comes in. English in Mexico is a second language, so with that in mind, 30 minutes is used for students learning English as a listening comprehension exercise. They then do a report of what they think they heard. Programs are archived, so the instructor can check on the content. Arrived in Morelia July 1999 from Vancouver, Canada, to semi retire. It hasn’t happened, but still having fun here. With a Degree in Science, majoring in Environmental Science, he helps students learn about the environment in English, since this is Mexico. Is presently the producer and host of “ETs BEST” Radio Program, an English Program, for students learning English. Also for those that know English and want to hear the language as an upgrade. Program has new topics which are of real life interest today in Morelia, Mexico. People from other countries can read and listen on the internet live, to have a better understanding of Mexico. ET, brings you closer than ever.
Previous to Morelia
In Edmonton, was a Nutritional Co-ordinator and instructor for an elementary school. Spent 10 years with Edmonton Transit System; As an operations dispatch supervisor and a driver trainer instructor. Did 5 years with the British Columbia Police Force? as a specialist in drug addiction in young people. Worked as a Tour Director/Driver and a tour bus trainer for 5 years? Has driven over 100s of thousands of miles all over Western USA and Canada. Studied neurolinguistic and psychology. Has done certified courses in supervision, effective communications, leadership, foremanship and written communications. His last 5 years before coming to Morelia was in research of Natural medicine, for Arthritis and other related ailments.
