Villahermosa
Mexico is situated in the northern region of the American continent linking the Gulf of Mexico on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west. It is encircled by the United States on the north and by Guatemala and Belize on the south and is divided into six tourist regions. Villahermosa is one of the popular tourist destinations of Mexico. It is the state capital of Tabasco and is located in the Gulf Coast region. Located in a zone that gets heavy annual rainfall, Villahermosa experiences a humid and tropical climate, with an average year-round temperature of 25 degree Celsius, however it can reach up to 40 degree Celsius in the summer.
Known as the Emerald of the Southeast, Villahermosa offers a wide variety of cultural and tourist attractions. The city is gifted with spectacular beauty of the nature such as Parque-Museo La Venta and Parque Tomas Garrido Canabal. Near the city you also can visit the Yumka Zoo and archaeological zones La Venta and Comalcalco, ancient capitals of the Olmecs and Mayans.
